The access to the island of Paros can be achieved either by air or by sea. From the airport 'Eleytherios Venizelos' of Athens, there are many daily domestic flights.

From the port of Piraeus, there are routes either with a conventional ship or a fast ferry boat. As Paros has a central position at the Cyclades complex of islands it is a perfect stop for island hopping. Most ships from Piraeus to Paros continue their trip to Naxos, Ios and Santorini, and also stop to Syros before reaching Paros. And these are not the only islands that a visitor can get to if they board on a ship to Paros, as there are many different routes to choose from. There are even some routes to Dodecanese islands that stop at Paros, like a route from Piraeus to Rodos with several stops at smaller islands.
