The access to the island of Paros can be achieved either by air or by sea. From the airport 'Eleytherios Venizelos' of Athens, there are many daily domestic flights.

From the port of Pireas, the sea connection is done either with a compatible ship or a fast ferry boat. As Paros has a central position at the Cyclades complex of islands it is a perfect stop for island hopping. Most ships from Pireas to Paros continue their trip to Naxos, Ios and Santorini, and also stop to Syros before reaching Paros. And these are not the only islands that a visitor can get to if he boards on a ship at Paros, as there are many different routes to choose from. There are even some routes to Dodecanese islands that stop to Paros, like a route from Pireas to Rodos with several stops to smaller islands.
